Day 3 of the Oceania Wrestling Championship saw Cameron MacGregor continue the Kiwi winning streak by picking up a bronze medal.
After 3 matches in hot and sandy conditions, MacGregor blitzed his opponents to come third. The Kiwi powerhouse thrived in the conditions at the luxury complex. MacGregor said that he responded positively to the opportunity of playing three matches, as opposed to the knockout competition of the previous two days play.
Cameron also holds New Zealand gold medals in both swimming and jujitsu. We can look forward to seeing more accomplishments on the international scene of this multi-talented elite New Zealand athlete.
